Every year 123,000 Americans undergo surgery for hemorrhoids, while millions more self-medicate with little or no relief from nonprescription ointments and hemorrhoid suppositories. Although 50% of Americans will suffer from hemorrhoids at some point in their life, it can still be cause for embarrassment and anxiety. Like any medical condition, if hemorrhoids go unchecked, they can become a cause for serious concern. At the Hemorrhoid Relief Center we offer a confidential environment where you can seek relief.
Hemorrhoidal symptoms often begin with painless rectal bleeding. Most people note rectal bleeding because blood appears bright red on toilet tissue or stool. Rectal bleeding may, however, be a symptom of other anal-rectal disorders. It is important to bring this symptom to your physician’s attention when it occurs. Although some symptomatic (bleeding) hemorrhoids subside within a week or two, others progress over time. Painless hemorrhoidal bleeding often becomes associated with rectal itching, discharge, and tissue prolapse (bulging) through the rectum. When these symptoms occur, patients often become anxious about what’s happening to their bodies. At the Hemorrhoid Relief Center we understand this and we are here to help.
Hemorrhoids are swollen (enlarged, dilated) veins (varicose veins) inside (internal) or outside (external) the anus that are usually caused by increased pressure, such as straining when constipated or during pregnancy. Hemorrhoids can cause pain, rectal bleeding, burning, clots, and itching. Although hemorrhoids are common, the condition is still seen as a private ailment, a disease in which the symptoms are more tolerable than the current methods of hemorrhoid treatment. Now, with Infrared Coagulation (IRC), there is a new, painless, nonsurgical device for the effective treatment of hemorrhoids. With IRC your hemorrhoids can be treated during a regular office visit. IRC requires no special preparation, no anesthesia, and no hemorrhoid medications or salves.
